We are also part of a national network of 46 Wildlife Trusts, working together for a better deal for nature and people locally and in the wider world.

The Role

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished contracts manager with strong business acumen and experience in estimating / preparing bids for commercial clients and tenders. Direct experience of drainage design including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) is preferred, as well as competence in the use of AutoCAD and Hydraulic modelling.

Where no direct experience of design is available, the candidate should have strong experience of working in aquatic environments such as rivers and lakes, and have significant experience in civil engineering and construction, including working knowledge of CDM Regulations.

The role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and an ability to work effectively with all stakeholders, including developers, government agencies, contractors, community groups, and landowners.
