We are currently looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our fun and passionate Kitchen team as a ‘Cook’.
If you have a passion for providing great fresh food and great service, then we want to hear from you. We are looking for an individual that thrives on being busy and is great at multi-tasking.
Previous experience is essential.
Some of your responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- Supporting the Head Chef and Kitchen Supervisor in the day to day running of the food barn, food outlets and farm shop.
- Hot food serving and cooking of toasties, burgers, curries and burritos in some of our food outlets.
- Full kitchen food safety compliance; when using cooking equipment, utensils, chopping boards, fryers etc.
- Food Hygiene compliance and Allergen compliance.
- Keeping work stations and surfaces clean and tidy, washing up each kitchen department.
- Logging of all compliance with kitchen paperwork.
- Overseeing food ordering and stock control.
- Following company policies and procedures.
About you:
- Must have a passion for food and be willing to learn.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience of working within a kitchen environment.
- Great team player.
- Enthusiastic.
- Able to adapt to change.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Flexible approach (could be asked to work outside of working hours as and when needed).
Work pattern: (day shifts) You will be working every - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
